Hewlett-Packard no longer will sell iPods in its network of distribution.

Hewlett-Packard will paralyze as of September the commercialization of its line of digital reproducers iPod. According to sources of Apple, the sales of reproducers under HP only supposed the five percent of the total.


Hewlett-Packard Co will let sell in its channels of distribution iPod of Apple Computer.

HP has used that the sale of music in its different slopes is not an important piece of its new line of business. The rupture in the agreement will not affect the fact that all computers HP continue taking of series the musical reproducer iTunes.

The Ipod-HP is practically the same device that sells Apple and is available in two versions, first with a capacity of storage of 20 gigabytes and other than duplicates it until reaching the 40 gigabytes. The similarities also are transferred to the price.

The rival of HP, Dell, chose to develop his own reproducer of MP3, denominated Dell DJ, to compete with Apple, but he has not been able to face Apple.
