The president of Sony, Kutaragi, announced that the extraíbles hard disks that Playstation 3 will use will be equipped with an Operating system Linux. These hard disks turn to the new console of Sony one more computers than a system of videojuegos.
These hard disks would not come including with the console and will be necessary to buy them separately. At the moment models of hard disk of 80 and 120 GB have been confirmed.
Its main preoccupation is that the people understand that they see the PS3 like a supercomputer and not like a "toy" (talking about to Nintendo).
It seems that the war comes yet from consoles.
