Toshiba and NEC announced their joint collaboration for the investigation of memories MRAM.
The MRAM differ from the previous memories on which, instead of keeping the information like electrical charges, they are based on the magnetism for it. The speed that reaches about 200 memories MRAM will be of MB/s.
The advantages that the MRAM has respect to other types of ram memory are that its electrical consumption is much smaller to the one of other memories.
