The giant of the mobile telephony Vodafone Group surpassed the forecasts when adding 4.1 million new clients in its first trimester, in which was its better performance in five years.

Vodafone announced Monday that had obtained 4.1 million new clients in the first trimester that closed the 30 of June, results that improve the prognoses significantly where an organic growth of 3.1 million subscribers had been anticipated. The base of subscribers of the British group exceeds 165 million now.

In spite of the increasing maturation and competition in the market of movable telephony, the subscribers of Vodafone raised 35 percents with relation the first trimester of the previous year. The income by movable telefonos raised 8.6 percents and they were located near the maximum considered by the company/signature of between 6 and 9 percents.
