A new system of Olympus to avoid the stagnation of the dust in the objective uses supersonic soundings.
It is possible to be seen in the E500 model. This system uses a special membrane between the objective and the chip of the sensor and transmits ultrasonic waveses in front of the sensor avoiding that the dust is accumulated when changing of objective.
