The world sales of televisions of plane screen have increased more than twice as much in the first trimester of 2005 until the 3,15 million units thanks to a remarkable reduction of the prices. The sales, although they were increased until 125 percent interanual, they fell 13 percent regarding the traditionally strong fourth trimester of 2004.
In the 12 months until the first trimester of this year, the price of the apparatuses televisions LCD (screen of liquid glass) with a screen bigger than 20 inches fell 20 percent at least and until 40 percent. Europe continues being the main region for televisions LCD with 41 percent of the world market, an ascent of 38 percent in front of the fourth trimester, followed by Japan, with 26 percent.
