Microsoft will offer in the different families of the next version of its operating system Windows a new support technician that will allow to work with digital pictures in format RAW.

The new software, known up to now with the name in key Longhorn will give native support for images RAW, and it will develop a certification program for files RAW of third companies, with what will try to provide a satisfactory system for any user of this type of documents by means of a standardized system.

Will improve the digital photographic support in Windows XP, with the incorporation of the Microsoft RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer that allows to see in miniature the pictures, their previsualización and impression of files RAW of Canon and Nikon from Windows Explorer.
