Apple presented new iPod nano, a new small and very light model of iPod, with screen in color and can store to 1,000 songs or 25,000 photos. It has a thickness of 6.9 mm, weighs 42 grams and it offers up to 14 hours of autonomy.

This new reproducer of MP3 that is 80% smaller than iPod original, can take up to 1,000 songs.

IPod nano is on sale in a model of 4 GB at the cost of 249 euros (IVA including) and another model of 2 GB at the cost of 199 euros (IVA including); both come in white or black color.

IPod nano includes the same connector dock of iPod and mini iPod, which allows to use it with than 1,000 accessories the more created for iPod. But pins does not include the small connector with 4 metalists, with which he is not compatible with the accessories that use this connection, like iTrip or iTalk.

It has screen 1,5"color, it supports photos and it uses one click wheel to sail.

iPod nano requires a Mac computer with 2,0 port USB and Mac OS X 10,3,4 version or later and iTunes 4,9 (or later); or a PC with Windows with 2,0 port USB and Windows 2000, XP Home or Professional (SP2) and iTunes 4,9 (or later).

Apple says that it is not necessary to have USB 2,0, although yes is recommendable, since the speed of transference of USB 1,0 is very slow.
